    www.ncs.gov.in National Career Service NCS Portal Registration for Job Seeker and Employer with Job Search, Counseling, and Career Centers Services

    The Ministry of Labour and Employment lunched a new web portal called as the National Career Service (NCS) where the information related to the employment, education and skilled education will present in one place. Today the Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi inaugurated the NCS (national career service) web portal on the occasion of Indian Labour conference in New Delhi and dedicated it to the nation and also launched the health reform facilities for Employees State Insurance Corporation of India. After launching Digital India Week, Skill India Mission as major project the Prime Minister Mr. Modi also launched the national career service related to the employment and education. On the official website of www.ncs.gov.in all the companies related to the retail, banking including other sectors will be present to provide the jobs for the registered candidates and job seekers. As well as for making capable to the candidates the skill training courses information will be given through this website by the institutes. The national careers service will also provide the counseling facility for the candidates. On behalf of the Ministry of Labour and Employment under the Central Government of India there will not be any fees candidates have to pay for all these features.

    On the portal the registration facility is provided free of cost. In such cases, to avoid fake registration Ministry of Labour made compulsory to the official government documents and these are required for the registration procedure. For instance, if you are going for registration on this ncs web portal to get a job offer you would be required the aadhaar card (unique identity card / UID) number. Also if you want to register on this portal as an employer or training institute in that case you will have to submit all the documents of your company under the Socieities Registration Act and the Companies Act to the Ministry of Labour. According to the Ministry of Labour and Employment this service especially will create new possibilities in the field of employment sector which will provide the benefits for all stakeholders.

    However in the search engine market naukari.com or monster.com types of websites are available but in these websites selected sectors associated jobs are provided and you have to pay a large amount as the fees of subscription here, but now this work is looking easy via the national career center portal of central government. In the two days conference which the topics such as organized and unorganized works social security and employment opportunities were discussed. In the conference the government also discussed about the labour organizations and industries’ various issues including the government’s labour reform policy. During his meeting with labor leaders before Modi issues of labor interests and their ten-point indent also discussed. Earlier, representatives of the central trade unions and members of the Inter-Ministerial Committee meeting on issues of contract labor and the minimum wage differences emerged. However, recognition of trade unions, Bonus Act amending and extending the scope of social security to workers, including the provision on some other issues the government agreed.

    Youths will Get Jobs through National Careers Service Portal
    On Monday, PM Modi gave a great gift for the millions of young people looking for a job on the occasion of 46th Indian Labour Conference. PM launched the national career service portal to bring the job seekers and employer on a platform. This career counseling portal has a specialty that is it will provide the jobs in the private sectors for the job seekers as well as with government jobs. This website will be connected through the centralized portal inter connected career center’s web where the candidates can come for free advice through the government certified counselors and psychologists. Here are some main key features provided through this ncs.gov.in official website for the citizens:

    Ø Right now 1031 career centers, 20407548 registered job seekers, for career guidance 129 career advisor, with career building courses 23963 skills provider, 1684 registered employer and in 53 regions active jobs are connected through this NCS portal.

    Ø This has the main purpose to bring all the 2 crore already registered candidates in various employment exchanges of country and to 9 lakh institutions and companies under the one portal.

    Ø According to the official data till now total 956 employment exchanges / offices are available, where nearly about 44700000 people are registered. As per the report in these total registered candidates at least 26220000 people are below the age of 29 years.

    Ø National Careers Service’s included in main stakeholders:

    • The unemployed youth looking for employment
    • Students seeking career advice / occupational guidance candidates
    • The salaried employees looking for placement and guidance
    • The disabled, ex-serviceman, veterans / senior citizens etc
    • And the employers looking for the right candidates

    Ø Registration on the portal will be free. But stopping the misuse of this portal the job seekers must have to connect their aadhar card with this portal. Similarly the companies and organizations will have to submit their company or organization socity registration or company registration certificate.

    Ø The government has decided to modernize the country’s 100 employment offices in the first phase. For this 190 crore rupees has been allocated by the central government. The employment exchange will now work as the counseling centres. Therefore, people will be able to seek advice on careers as well as application submission facility for the jobs. This kind of services will provide the National Careers Service. For instance, career counseling, aptitude assessment, job matching, educational institutions provided courses information, training and employment guidance etc. are provided through this service.

    Ø Hopefully all the companies under all the ministries and departments of the central government and state governments will be asked to report for the vacancies on this portal. the skill development & entrepreneurship ministry as well as small & medium industry will be as the main partners of this initiative.

    Before this system of starting the NCS it was necessary to register the name in concerned employment exchange / office to get the government job. The unemployed people found this is the best way to get the government job. But now it’s looking that this trend is going to end. So the government planned now to revamp to these employment centers. These employment centers will be developed as the government national portal. On this new web portal the information will be provided for jobs and internships as well as for skill development courses. It will also solve the problem of registration for name in the employment offices.

    Step II –
    After selecting this option of signup it will redirect you in the new page where you have to select the option from the type of registration. Under this section you can get the options of job seeker, employer, local services, household user, skill developer, counselor, placement organization and government department. These all options are also given on the home page navigation section where you can select any one of them to get the other options under that.     Step III –
    After selecting the option of job seeker this page will provide you new section of registration as per the below given demo page. In this new page you have to fill the complete required information as asked on the registration form.     In the above given page you have to fill the following information, candidates are suggested to give the true and correct details for their profile. In case if the govt found any detail is fake your registration can be rejected:

    • Fill your first / middle and last name in starting three sections
    • In next select your gender from male / female and enter your date of birth from selecting through calendar
    • Now fill your guardian / father’s name along with your current using mobile number and e-mail address
    • Enter your password which you want to select with the retype option
    • Fill your aadhaar card (UID) number which is compulsory to enter
    • Now select any username which you can remember and fill the affiliations
    • In the last section fill the security code given on the box and click to the submit button.

    Step IV –
    After filling all the above given information and clicking to the submit button you can get your profile page as the below given demo page. Here you can get the option of view profile, search jobs, applied jobs, job preferences, local services availed and change password. Apart from these options you have to give all the details for your personal information, physical attributes, communication, education, experience and competencies. You have to fill all the sections and have to affix a passport size photo. After filling all the information click to the save option.

    Through the above given procedure you can got the time to time notification for jobs according to your eligibility. You can get all the services and facility as I mentioned above. It will reduce your rounds of office again and again and it will give the benefits to those states candidates’ where the online registration facility is not available yet.
