    www.ugc.ac.in Swami Vivekananda Single Girl Child Scholarship for Research in Social Sciences 2014-2015 Online Apply Edit Print Application of SVSGC

    Swami Vivekananda was born on 12 January 1863. He was distinguished and influential spiritual master of Vedanta. His real name was Narendra Nath Dutt. He represented Sanatan Dharma in 1893 at the parliament of the world’s religions in Chicago in the US from the Indian side. Vedanta philosophy of India, full of spirituality in America and Europe, each country only reached because of Swami Vivekananda's speech. He founded the Ramakrishna Mission is still doing its job. He was a qualified disciple of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa. Leading them to the beginning of his speech "My American Brothers and Sisters" is known to be with. The first sentence of his speech he had won everyone's heart. He was born in a Kayastha family. His father Vishwanatha Datta was a famous lawyer. Vishwanath Datta believed in Western civilization. He also wanted to turn his son in western culture by giving education of English.

    But his mother Bhuvaneshwari Devi was womean of religious thoughts. Her much of time was spent in worship of Lord Shiva. Narendra childhood IQ was very intense and had a strong desire to attain the divine. They were the first in the Brahmo Samaj, but there was no satisfaction in their mind. They are prevalent in Vedanta and Yoga to the West wanted to give significant contributions. Fortunately Vishwanath Datta died. The house load came to the Narendra. The family was in the terrible condition. In the poverty the Narendra were very large guest service person. They provide food for guest without eating and gave the bed to sleep. Swami Vivekananda dedicates his life to his Guru Ramakrishna Paramahansa. His Guru’s body was very sick. In the period of sickness of he decided to serve his Guru instead to looking for family.

    Vivekananda was a big dreamer. He conceived of a society in which human beings on the basis of religion or caste there is no distinction. He kept the same principles of Vedanta. Spiritualism vs. materialism without resorting to the dispute, it can be said that the basis of the principle of parity Vivekananda gave him a strong intellectual basis could hardly be found. There were great expectations from the young Vivekananda. The vibrant life of a hermit for today's young people is ideal. His grandfather's name was Mr. Nandalal Basu.

    Thirty nine years in the brief life of Swami Vivekananda in which they work will guide future generations for many centuries. At the age of 30 he represented Hinduism and brought universal recognition it in the US conference of world religions in the Chicago. Guru Ravidnranath Tagore once said “If you want to know India then read on Vivekananda, in which you will find all positive nothing negative. Romain Rollan had said about him “It is impossible even to imagine having their second wherever they are only the first. Every one of them was the leader of the referent. They were representatives of God and gain dominance over all was their uniqueness. Once an unknown traveler stopeed right in his view in the Himalayas and cried “Shiv”! It is as if it happened deity that person get his name written on their foreheads. "

    They are not only a saint, a great patriot, speaker, thinker, writer and philanthropist were. He called upon the countrymen had returned from the US "New India embarked cobbler shop, Bdbhuaje of the Screw, from the factory, from the market, from the market; nickel-lying bushes, forests, mountains, mountains." And the people answered the call of Swamiji. He had to get out with pride. Gandhiji received public support in their fight for freedom he was the fruit of Vivekananda's call. Thus the Indian freedom struggle also became a major source of inspiration. He believed that Indian land is sacred of religion and philosophy. He believed that the education is the manifestation of perfection in every person. The education is not only the collection of all types of information apart from this the education has very meaningful importance. According to the Swami Ji the education should be man-making, character building and life giving. It is the assimilation of noble work thinkings.

    He worked for the promotion of education for women. To making their ideas more effective the University Grants Commission started the Swami Vivekananda Single Child Scholarship for Research in Social Sciences. Through the girls students can make their future bright. The main object to start this scheme is to provide the financial assistance for their higher education. In a family only one girl can apply for this scholarship. Here I am going to let you know about this SVSGC Scholarship scheme of academic year 2014-2015.

    ELIGIBILITY TO APPLY FOR SVSGC SCHEME 2014-15
    The UGC (statutory body of the government of India) provided Swami Vivekananda single child scholarship for research in social sciences (SVSGC) in which the girls students can apply to get the economical help through the department. Under the scheme the girls are provided the financial assistance to get their higher education.

Size:  269 Bytes This scholarship scheme only given to one / single girl in family, there is no any provision has been made by the UGC to give the stipend facility for more than one girl in a family.

Size:  269 Bytes The stipend is provided to only those girls who are single at their family. The girls having brother, second sister or twins daughter in a family are also able to apply but the fund will be provided for only one girl.

Size:  269 Bytes If there only boy and one girl is living in a family then this scholarship will be not given to the girl student. Only in the case if the girl has one more sister or brother will be able to get the stipend award by the UGC.

Size:  269 Bytes The girls student who got the admission in any of the Ph.D programme in social science on the regulation bases can apply. This fund is only given to the girl students who are studying in any of the recognized university / educational institution.

Size:  269 Bytes The girl must be having the ageless than 45 years old if she belongs to the scheduled caste / scheduled tribes / other backward classes (sc/st/obc), physically handicapped (PH) but if she is from the general category then 40 years.

    RATE OF SCHOLARSHIP PROVIDED BY UGC AND DOCUMENTS
    The University Grants Commission will provide Rs. 8000 (eight thousand rupees) in the starting two years of higher education of girl students, Rs. 10000 (ten thousand rupees) in the 3rd and 4th year under the Swami Vivekananda single child scholarship for research in social sciences (SVSGC) of 2014-2015.

    HOW TO APPLY ONLINE FOR SVSGC 2014-15
    To apply online the UGC official website ugc.ac.in provided the application registration form. The girls students can visit to the official portal where they are able to get the registration form to fill online. This online application form comes under the e-Governance project under which all students can submit their online registration form for all types of scholarship – fellowships.

    First visit to the official website of www.ugc.ac.in where in the home page section you can check the option of e-Start Scholarships-Fellowships and this option will provide you new page of http://www.ugc.ac.in/ugc_schemes/ where in the bottom section the option is given with Swami Vivekananda Single Girl Child Scholarship for Research in Social Sciences. There is mentioned the Last Date 30/November/2014 before which the students have to submit their application form.

Girls have to read the complete rules and regulation here before submitting the online application form. On the same page you can check the option of Apply Now through which you can get the new registration page.

    In the next step you have to click the apply option through which you will be able to get the new page in which you have to fill the complete details. The application form is parted in 4 sections first personal information, second research information, third research information and fourth declaration information. On this registration page you have to click on the Yes. I have read above mentioned instructions carefully and then have to click on the proceed for registration option.

    Note – Keep scanned copy of your all documents such as educational qualification, caste certificate, resident proof etc.

    After filling the complete documents click to the printout option on the http://www.ugc.ac.in/svsgc/already_exist.aspx page where you have to enter first your registration id, date of birth and in the last year of scholarship. After filling these information you will be able to download the registration form which you filled to get the scholarship online under the UGC.

    IMPORTANT NOTES BEFORE ONLINE APPLICATION
    § This scholarship is only provided through the UGC and there is no any application registration or form has been given online apart from the official website of ugc.ac.in so students are suggested to use only official portal to fill the application and to get the form.

    § Students have to attach the softcopy of their all documents as the caste certificate, age proof, admission proof, Annexure II (deceleration form for single girl) in the online application form along with all marksheet.

    § Students are suggested to fill their application form very carefully and with true personal, research, other information with the declaration. If the department found any mistake in the application form or in any other document it can be reject by the UGC.

    § In the application form star (*) marked sections are compulsory to fill and the options where Choose File is written must have to upload the document as per asked by the official website of online registration form by UGC.

    § Do not handover your any type of hard / soft copy of document to fill the online application form due to the security reasons. Students are suggested to fill their application form by themselves.

    § There is no any charges has been taken by the University Grants Commission to register for this scholarship. So do not pay any type of amount / money to any other person regarding for the registration of svsgc scholarship scheme 2014-2015.

    While applying for Swami Vivekananda Single Girl Child fellowship , I have done some mistakes in the year of my paper publication. One of my paper was published in 2017 and I have written 2018. Shall my form be rejected?
