The Employees’ Provident Fund India which is also known as EPF India has the official website www.epfindia.gov.in which has started there services in 15/11/1951. Under the Act of 1952 all employee’s expect of Jammu and Kashmir are able to get the benefits of this services. In the previous history of epf India the act has been changed more than 15 times there rules. What is Employees’ Provident Fund EPF?The epf is the insurance scheme for employees of all organization of India. Employees’ Pension Scheme EPS 1995After getting retirement the employees can get the benefit of this service by the epf India. Candidates are also able to get the benefits of disability, survivor, widow or to there children’s. This fund is based on the average pay after retirement of employees as per his total years of work. EDLI works after the death case of employee. If any employee is having this scheme and incase he died in that case employees family can get the 20 times of average wages of the last 12th months of member. In this scheme the family can get the amount of max Rs. 130000 under the scheme is Rs. 6500. Employee can also select his nomination to provide the money after his death. As per the govt rules the employee and employer both will have to contribute 12% in EPF. How to Download E-PassbookThe epf India is also providing the e-passbook facility which is available through the the http://members.epfoservices.in/ page. On the page you need to login through the following information:

- Mobile Number
If any employee doesn’t have the e-pass book can register through the http://members.epfoservices.in/employee_reg_form.php page where you have to fill following information:
- Mobile number of employee
- Employee’s date of birth
- Select the document
- Number of your document
- Employee’s Name as on the document
- E-mail ID
- And then enter the pin
After this process the server will send you a sms of confirmation code which you have to enter on the page after that come back on the http://members.epfoservices.in/ section use your login information and get your e-passbook.
